FDA
FDA Prior Notice is the U.S. law that requires any food, beverage, or ingestible botanical crossing the border to be declared to the FDA before it arrives on U.S. soil. We file that notice for every shipment we bring in, and we file it before the order leaves our import warehouse — not after. Your package arrives with the paperwork already on record; you do not become the importer of record, and you do not file anything yourself.
USDA APHIS
USDA APHIS Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) permits are what authorize the import of plant material, dried botanicals, and certain sacred foods that require phytosanitary clearance. We hold active PPQ permits for the categories we carry, and every shipment covered by those permits is documented and inspected before it leaves our warehouse. If a commodity we sell ever requires additional sampling or treatment, it stays at our import dock until it is cleared — it never ships to your door without that step being done first.
CBP
We are the importer of record. Every package we ship is filed with U.S. Customs and Border Protection before it leaves our warehouse — under our importer bond, against our CBP entry, and against the FDA and APHIS filings above. Your package rides through U.S. customs already released. You are never billed a customs duty, never billed an inspection cost, and never asked to act as the importer for your own order. If anything is ever held, it is our problem to resolve — the paperwork, the fee, and the wait are ours, not yours.
