Shipping

Ships from the U.S. import warehouse. Tracking on every order. A real person on the other end if it stalls.

Diaspora buyers ask the same four things before they check out: where the package ships from, how long it takes by region, whether customs is handled, and what to do if tracking goes quiet. Here are the plain-language answers — in the same reassuring voice as our FAQ and Compliance pages.

US warehouse

Ships from our U.S. import warehouse — orders placed by our daily cutoff go out the same business day.
A single bonded U.S. import facility means there is no overseas leg you are waiting on — the import is already done by the time you order.
Facility:Our U.S. import warehouse · Northeast U.S.
Same-day cutoff:2:00 PM Eastern Time
Cutoff days:Monday–Friday

Every order ships from our single bonded U.S. import facility in the Northeast — the same place the FDA Prior Notice, USDA APHIS, and CBP filings are filed from. Place your order by our 2:00 PM Eastern cutoff on a weekday and your package leaves the warehouse that same business day. There is no overseas leg you are waiting on, no consolidation wait, and no freight forwarding bid you have to win; the import is already done by the time you order.

Domestic U.S. windows

Standard ground shipping windows by region — usually 1-4 business days from dispatch.
Standard ground reaches most U.S. addresses inside 2-5 business days. The exact envelope shifts by region; expedited options are offered at checkout.
Northeast (NY, NJ, MA, PA, CT)Our home region — same-day cutoff orders typically arrive next-day.
1-2 business days
South-Atlantic (FL, GA, NC, SC, VA)
2-3 business days
Central & Midwest (TX, IL, OH, MI, MO)
2-3 business days
Mountain (CO, AZ, NM, UT, NV)High-country ZIPs may run a day longer in winter weather windows.
3-4 business days
West Coast (CA, OR, WA)
2-4 business days

Windows are measured in business days from the warehouse cutoff — once your package leaves the Northeast, the carrier clock starts the next business morning. Orders over our free-shipping threshold ship standard ground at no extra cost; below that, the rate is shown at checkout before you pay. If you need it faster, expedited options (overnight and 2-day) are available on every U.S. address at checkout, priced by carrier at the address you ship to.

International & customs

We ship U.S.-domestic today — international buyers can route through a U.S. freight forwarder.
The import paperwork is already done by us, so there is no U.S. customs step on dispatch. Forwarding past the U.S. border is on you.
Customs · ingestibles & sacred foods

Ingestible botanicals and sacred foods leave our warehouse with FDA Prior Notice and USDA APHIS filings already on record — your package has already cleared U.S. customs, so there is no U.S. customs step at dispatch and no importer paperwork on your side. If you forward past the U.S. border through a freight forwarder, the destination country's import rules (and any duties or restrictions on ingestible botanicals) are yours to navigate. Because we cannot certify compliance with every destination's food and botanical regulations, the forwarder leg is on the buyer — not because of paperwork we have skipped here.

Customs · ritual goods

Ritual goods (tools, attire, beads, instruments, ceremonial objects) generally clear without issue in transit because they are not ingestible and most have no USDA or FDA filing. Forwarding internationally is the same: as long as your destination allows the materials, they pass through. If you are unsure about a specific item, email us before ordering and we will tell you what we know from prior shipments.

Right now we ship to U.S. addresses only — every order leaves from a single U.S. import facility, and we are not set up to take international payments, calculate overseas duties, or counter-sign destination-country import documents. If you live outside the U.S., you are welcome to use a U.S. freight forwarder (a warehouse that accepts your package in the U.S. and forwards it on to your country). That works well for our standard ground rates and tracking, and it puts the destination-country import decisions in your hands.

Tracking & stalled parcels

Tracking arrives in your shipping confirmation — if the parcel stalls, email us and we open a trace on our side.
Every order ships with a carrier tracking link. If it stalls without scan movement, we take it from there.
Stalled-parcel threshold:7 business days

The moment your package leaves the warehouse, you get a shipping confirmation email with the carrier and the tracking link — no need to log in to look it up. Tracking typically shows its first scan within one business day of dispatch. If the tracking is stalled past 7 business days without any new scan movement from the carrier, do not wait it out — email us at the address below with your order number and we will open a trace on our side: contact the carrier, file a missing-package inquiry, and either relocate the parcel or send a replacement at our cost. The earlier you reach out, the easier the trace is.
